UseDem upcycle brand is driven by the mission to reduce amount of pre and post consumer waste in textile industry and bring the conscious culture in the mass through the multiple DIY workshops.  In this workshop faculty and students brought their own old jeans and learned how they can transform them into a tote bag. Additionally, we are collecting old denim clothes on the 8th floor to save them from the landfill and offer them a better life.

This workshop was conducted by Xenia Sidorenko, founder of UseDem. Her overall eco-friendly project has a socially engaged component in that she gives hands-on workshops to share her knowledge – teaching participants how to transform their own recycled textiles
