(it will take you 30 to 60 min)Every year we use between 500 billion and a trillion plastic bags around the world. Disposable plastic bags could be convenient and inexpensive, but nowadays they are a major source of waste in the world. They end up in landfills and the ocean polluting our environment and killing wildlife. Plastic bags are banned in various countries, but they are still one of the most common items around our houses.
In this workshop you will learn how you can recycle your plastic bags and turn them into fabric at home. During the workshop, we will use this fabric to create a coin purse, just to give you an idea of some beautiful and durable products that you can create using simple tools to recycle plastic. Bring some plastic bags with you, but don’t worry if you don’t have any, we  we will also provide some. Tools and other materials will be available for common use.
